I don't know if we need to catch Throwable exceptions, actually because the event can throw only RuntimeExceptions.

Otherwise if it's necessary to catch Throwable exceptions the catch-chain would be in this way:
catch Db4oException and rethrow
catch RuntimeException and rethrow
catch-and-wrap Throwable and throw MyDb4oRuntimeException
